Few years into my software engineering career, I started speaking at meetups in my University in Ogun state, Nigeria. Small rooms of 5 to 10 people.
Little did I know this is the start of something that will change my life.

From speaking at small meetups, I graduated to speaking at virtual events like Ansible Community meetups, Kubernetes Community Days (KCDs).
This taught me a lot about presentation, getting CFPs accepted, doing technical demos, etc.
Went Global
In October 2022, I was fully funded to attend KubeCon North America in Detriot, USA, and spoke at the DoK (Data on Kubernetes) day, and since then I have been traveling all over the world.
Europe, UK, Asia, and even the Middle East.
"If I from a small town in Nigeria can do this. You, wherever you are now, with your experience can do so much more."
Today
We don’t have a talent shortage. We have a visibility shortage. There are brilliant engineers everywhere — but too few are stepping onto stages.
From helping a Senior Principal Engineer deliver a highly rated talk at AWS re:Invent 2025 to organizing, and hosting conferences/meetups in Atlanta and London I know what it takes to share technical knowledge.
